I found a Zenith roundie combo but...

It's identical to the one I already have. The price is cheap and it's in good shape. Part of me says get it and part it out, I need a few things to fix up the one I already have and am kinda attatched to. The other part of me says to keep it intact but I have no room for ANOTHER 65" long combo. I could also use a good spare CRT (no cataract). The stereo components would make an awesome stand alone tube setup......but I can't stand ripping these things apart....can't decide what the hell to do with it. If left intact, the set would probably be almost perfect after a recap.

It's a 1965 with the 25MC33 chassis and grey phosphor 21FJP22. All tube tuner and amp, single ended 6BQ5 and the micromatic changer.

Here it is, might be getting it tomorrow. Does anyone here want it as is? Would anyone be interested in the cabinet if I do take what I need?

I'd have some interest if it's complete. Especially if it is a Space Command equipped model.

Gutted it's no more than firewood, to me.

It's a power tuning model, no remote. It is identical to mine, hence my should I part it out conundrum. I'd sell it to you reasonably if you could get it asap. (Lets see if I get it first but most likely am)

I could do $50 on it or trade (I gotta check if a 65" console can even fit in the CR-V and figure out how to deal with my folks, though). Soonest I could be there is Wednesday I have an important interview on Tuesday and I'd be stupid to skip prep for it tomorrow.

If it's got power tuning then I probably could get a spare SC chassis and make it remote...

That is a true combo bargain Mark.
The amp is a SE6BQ5 and the tuner is all-tube AND stereo by the looks of it. I have a console HiFi with the same components, even the record chnager.

I sadly don't have a vehicle that can hold something that big. The folks' CR-V can only fit a 54" wide console... If you can deliver it, I'd give you 50 bucks and some smaller TVs for it. I'm about 3 miles off the intersection of I-94 and highway 83.

There is no way in hell the folks will let me drive the CR-V with the back open, and I don't think we are strong enough to get it on top of my 1978 Lincoln Mark_V....Not that I'd want to abuse my car thusly ...

It would probably be moveable in my Buick Rendezvous. I might be able to help if needed to scrub off certain things. (Tom knows what I mean). I personally have moved full couches in it, and had the back gate strapped closed because they were too long.

I'm fairly close to Kenosha, Wisconsin anyway. Driving to Kenosha to get it, then to Tom would be a day-project for me, something to do in my time of unemployment!

Let me know, I'd be willing to lend a hand. I need 24 hour notice. Dad drives the Buick more then me. He can take my car and I can use the Buick anytime.

I had to pass on it, I couldn't get any help moving it. Here is the listing if you want to go after it. His name is Joe. http://racine.craigslist.org/atq/5600972789.html He is eager to get rid of it and is a nice guy, this will be a good deal for someone.

If it wasn't so damn big I'd take it but I have no where to go with it.

Perhaps Tom will look in to getting it.
