The ad says it was recapped . Don't think anyone has laid claim to the freebe yet.

I, like some other people I know, could use a good 21AXP22. Would be tempting to put side-by-side with the CTC-5 I have with a 21FJP22 sub. But I'm not thinking of shelling out the asked price for a complete set that doesn't show a picture. May be a simple fix, maybe not. "Wrong voltage on the CRT" could be a bad flyback, for all I know.

He wouldn't give me an answer on what that means either, so don't feel left out of the loop or anything...

What that means is that is what I was told from you guys. The picture tube did lite up before I did the recap. The high voltage is 19k so I dont think the flyback is bad.

Auction ended prematurely, I assume a buyer was found.

If it was someone here, I hope they speak up - would love to know what's wrong with it, because it is very annoying to see something listed for a large BIN without being able to tell how far from/close to operating it is.

Also the BIN is usually what the reserve is set at, and there's no way I'd shell out that much for a non-working set (unless said set was a CT-100 of course).
