crt replacement

I was readint that thread on homebrew tv sets down below and thought if I could find a schamatic where I have most of the parts I would try to buld it. I found a schamatic where I have almose everything except 1 tube and 3 diodes. (He project calls for a dg7-6 crt and I need to know if there are any tubes that are compatible.

It looks like the dg7-6 is an electrostatic scope CRT. Probably with a P1 type green phosphor. http://g4oep.atspace.com/toycro/toyc...20Data%20Sheet.

Possibly a 2BP1, 3RP1 or similar vintage scope CRT would work.

Scope tube would look cool if you are watching "Outer Limits" when the Martians arrive on earth. Everyone would look green. Or, you could use the set next year on St. Patrick's day .

I have always liked those mororola sets kinda reminds me of one of my zenith radios that i have except instead of a dial it has a picture tube.
