Panasonic TV Catalog

I believe this dates from around 1970. Part of a larger catalog of Panasonic's consumer electronic products.

Interesting that they were following the practice of naming sets after towns/cities, as a lot of American manufacturers did. Open an atlas or a road map and look at names until you find one you like. Their color consolette is the "Kenilworth," the name of a high-tone Chicago north shore suburb. [Edit: also the name of a town in New Jersey. Panasonic has had facilities in New Jersey for a long time.] I wonder if the naming was done by their American office or perhaps their American (Chicago? New York?) advertising agency.

About right on date. Color TV had one more generation of
tube jobs after those. Surprised the " Panabrator" isnt
shown. A very popular item.

I remember Pana-brite and Compu-focus. Guess they hadn't thought of them when this catalog was printed
