back then color was the ultimate Christmas gift

for years before we got color, you would always see the seasonal promo's for Christmas specials brought to you in living color. And the stores staying open later would help enhance the desire to get one of those new color sets.

I wish we could find photos of the stores and the TV's on display showing whatever was on.
Maybe somebody will post some!
