I was into MY stuff & my sister was into HERS- show horses- when we were kids. One of the older veterinarians around here told us once that you did NOT need to be into show horses unless you could pull 2 100 dollar bills outta yr pocket EVERY day, wad 'em up & throw 'em away, & not miss 'em. I think he was low, by a factor of at least 2X... The most "Omigawd" TV is likely a CT-100, a functioning example would set you back at least $5k-THAT amount would barely buy you a single example of a show saddle & accouterments..

I got lucky enough to have the house to myself today. I went to the local scrapyard where I'm friends with the owner, and bought some stuff. A 40s Emerson fan, a mid 50s Orgill Flyer Bicycle, some antique bike parts, and other miscellaneous stuff. I got to sneak it all out to my building in the back and no one's the wiser. If the wife were here, I'd have hell to pay!

Like SO many things, easier said than done... Oh well, both my parents are gone now, my wife knows-if not understands my hobbies well,& rarely ever says anything against them.
