Airwolf!

Any other fans of this classic? I keep meaning to find it on DVD but I got SUPER lucky when I found my old VHS copies! Binge watching soon!

Anyone else love it?

Edit: How did that link get in there? Not sure.

Jan michael vincent is a classic personalty

After seeing his interviews i think he is a very well intended man. Lived life hard for sure. I had a friend that seemed just like him. He could out drink me and maintain worthwhile conversation the whole time. He smoked alot and i guess those two things helped kill him. So, i am surprised jan is still alive.
I never got to see airwolf but i know about it. Jan's presense is the likely appeal and ernie bourgnine helps alot too.

Liked it when it was NEW...STILL do.have most of the episodes on DVD.

It was a LOT like a "knight rider" for the sky...without the talking computer...but with a LOT of other super-tech goodies !!

The Knightrider theme is my ringtone. BTW, what area of Pittsburgh are you in? I lived near the airport until Mom passed in 2013 and I now live in Tiltonsville, OH, near Wheeling. I still work west of Pittsburgh though,

I liked the show too, IIRC when they had to record something off the computer, I always remember Dom putting in a CD to burn.

I wasn't crazy about the pilot movie but liked the show. Pilot reminded me too much of firefox. I guess I should watch it again all these years later....... reminds me another helicopter show came on at the same time but didn't last blue thunder with a more reality based copter but show was not as good.

Airwolf!

Never watched it (or knew about it) when it was new, but discovered it in recent years when it began to be broadcast over the air on DTV sub channels. Currently, it is on every afternoon on "Get TV" and I record it to watch at night.

What stands out to me about the show is that the episodes usually have really interesting & well-developed stories (though sometimes the stories are so intricate that it's too hard to cram into 48 minutes). Also, I like how the focus is often on people rather than tech & special effects. Most of the episode is about the plot, and then Airwolf saves the day at the end.

I just discovered the BluRay release too, and it is on my wish list.

That 4th season is pretty bad and I would say the only one that is really good is with Dick van dyke.

The first episode of season 4 was on TV yesterday. Yikes -- I see what you mean.
