Dang it! That's the model I've missed 2 of! Make that 3 now! Those are great sets with probably the best picture on any Zenith roundie. That is a 66/67 model, the last roundie from Zenith. It uses the 24NC31 chassis. Anyone up for a pony express???

I have one of those sets. Doug has the chassis right now for recapping. You might have something I'd trade for?

I emailed the seller. Even though I'm in TN, I can sometimes find ways to get things to me. Someone probably already has dibs on it though.

I was in negotiations with the seller over the past week about this set. I told him even though I am in TN, I could find a way to get it to me if it was in good shape. I asked for more photos. The seller said he would send me more and that I was the only one interested.

On Friday he emailed me and said the photos would come during the weekend, but then mentioned another guy emailed him about it. He said that since I was the first to inquire about it, that I would get first chance to buy it. Several days go by and no word or pics from him and emails are unanswered. He has also removed the ad from CL.

I guess it was not meant to be. I have been looking about 2 years now for a roundie, and have had nothing but bad luck.

Sigh...

Yet another flake-o seller....

There must be a little man around the corner who cranks these types of folks out of his hurdy-gurdy....

The TV has been re-listed. It appears that he listed it again 2 days after I last spoke with him. I emailed and asked him point blank if he wants to sell or not.

I get tired of this run around with sellers. I have dealt with people on ebay that want you to buy their item, but won't answer questions. If your selling something, you should be able to answer questions to the best of your ability. Geeesh!
