Custom Turbo Miata

I thought I would toss my hat in the ring.

Pretty slick for a modern car.

There are a few of those (not as well cared for though) roaming the roads here. I always chuckle a bit when I pull up next to one and it is as long as the hood of of my 2 door 6 passenger Lincoln Mark V...Granted even my friend's full size Suburban ain't as long as my Lincoln.

Interesting that the climate control panel had enough slack to move down for the extra gauges.

I see you added an air/fuel meter- I had one of those on an old Cougar of mine, and because it tapped the one-and-only O2 sensor on that car, it screwed with the mixture and made the mileage horrible.

Just something to watch for, unless you added a bung for a separate O2 sensor (or they have improved monitoring technology since then). Mine was just a scotch-lock that crimped onto the O2 sensor wire (which I imagine added a parallel load and screwed up its readings into the ECM).

Custom down pipe with bung for Bosch O2 sensor feeding a MegaSquirt EFI controller. No factory ECU. Full stainless exhaust.

Very nice car! I didn't see this earlier. I have a stock 90 NA, pretty much a guarantee that it's the car I will be driving when I run into vintage electronics in the wild. Very good on curves, but the extra power would sure be nice. Stock transmission? Nice upholstery too!

Very nice! I had a '95 for over 10 years. I miss that car. I like the custom work you did with yours. Fantastic job!
