Sansui VCR 4510
I just got a Sansui VCR 4510, but it didn't come with the manual, and for some reason I can't get it to tape when I program. I have the date and time set right, it accepts the time, but it doesn't record except in QTR mode. I've tried leaving the power on, tried with it off, nothing. Any ideas?

It should provide an indication on the readout that it is programmed to record, such as a little clock symbol, etc. If not, you may have left out the last step - pressing "Enter", "Program", "Timer" or something like that. At any rate, you can usually find an owner's manual in PDF form on one of the manual sites - www.servicemanuals.net, manuals-in-pdf.com, manualscenter.com or many others. Sometimes you can even find them for free, but you'll have to pay around $20 for most of them. And of course, you do have the record safety tab on the tape still intact?

Thanks Barry. The knockout tab is intact, I programed it the way I used to program the 21 year old Fisher that was dying. I'll try those steps and see what happens.
