Service Manuals

I have a chance to get a hold of some 1960 to 1980 TV service manuals and was wondering what the cutoff date for usefulness/saleability is.

Thanks

Larry

it depends on the model of tv, generally any zenith color tv manual, lots of rca and motorolas too.

Don't ask for too much. Price it cheap to move w/ shipping to avoid the trash can. Some items may have ONLY 1 to 10 people that a manual may useful to. Low interest items priced right sell. You must realize this is something most people will not use extensively in their lifetime, probaly for one to several tvs in their collection at best.

The lack of common sense in general about these items seeing online prices, they have a reference value only , BUT NO commercial value. These are all for obsolete sets that are not commonly repaired anymore.

An ambitious person w/ a tv shop or truckload of stuff wouldn't do too bad just price it right. It would be some work though. $2 to 5 range and a minimal charge for shipping. Can this stuff be shipped w/ a media or book rate at a discount?
