Hard Times in Hampton Roads

As of today, a terrible decision was arrived at @ 6 am. The rest of my collection must go. I suppose this wasn't too hard to arrive at when Dominion Power pulled our meter yesterday in the middle of a near tornado! I have a working RCA CTC-20C with a good de-cataracted 21FJP22, a Zenith that I'm not sure what model thats restorable with a good FJP22, Curtis-Mathes 21" combo that needs work, a first gen zenith chassis with the minature glass envelope 3.58 crystal, good FBP22 "dud", and assorted other parts etc. PM me or call 757-562-2373, I'm sure agreememts/arrangements can be made!

Tommy, I am sorry to hear of this tough situation and the decision you had to make. I hope you can bounce back soon and return to where you were in the hobby. Since I am 3000 miles away, I cannot help out by making any deals, though.

It is always hard to part with stuff what ever the reason, you have my sympathy.

I'm a little too far away to help you out, but if anyone who likes to visit the Milwaukee Chicago area could transport a set here, there is always room here for another round screen color set in my collection.

Do you have anything related to the Zenith 25MC33 chassis? I have a Zenith roundie and would like to have some spare parts.

I would like to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and interest. Some progress has been made, but there is still a ways to go. The Zenith specific chassis are gone, but I still have some cabinet parts. I also still have the Curtis Mathes and the RCA CTC-22. Also a good Channel Master 21FJP\GVP22 and an RCA 21FBP22 dud that is under vacuum. Once again, thanks everyone and thanks to Videokarma!

It was great meeting you yesterday and seeing the interesting things you have. I will put the Zenith parts to good use. Listen up everyone. I have seen the CTC-22. It has raster and is an excellent restoration candidate. If I did not already have a roundie I would have been all over that set. Somebody grab it and help him out.
