What's a 1929 Zeneth 39A worth?

I'm going to see a guy who has lots of gear for sale. One thing is a 1929 Zenith 39A console radio in Tiger wood. I have no clue what these things are worth. He said it was 200-300 pounds.

Maybe something similiar to this 1927?

I have a radio collector's guide, which doesn't list the 39A. But the 40A sounds similar, and it says $850. It could be more, depending on rarity, or even considerably less. Consoles especially are all over the map in value. But Zenith consoles are some of the most desired by collectors.

You might ask at the forum at antiqueradios.com

Your model isn't in my book, but similar models date from 1929. Values are all over the board, so it's tough to tell on this one.

Well I saw it and it was beautiful. Just wasn't up to the $350 he wanted. Would make a nice statement in the living room though.
