The same weekend????????

After the last convention, several people approached me with the idea of having the convention the same weekend as Dayton. The idea was that attending two events so close together was difficult, and people had to choose between the two events. Having them the same weekend would allow people to go to Dayton for the swapmeet on Friday and come to the Early Television convention for the weekend.

I polled the attendees of last year's convention. About half didn't care since they had no interest in Dayton. Among the other half, about 3/4 were in favor of the idea, so we decided to try it. We will re-evaluate after this year's show.
