seller says it tests good.
http://cgi.ebay.com/RCA-Colorama-21C...QQcmdZViewItem I think the colorrama designation is for rebuilt tubes. Wonder when it was rebuilt?

Testing CRTs for ebay
Hi All,
Although I didn't see this thread earlier, I just wanted to mention that ANYTIME I list a CRT, any interested bidder can stop by and check the tube on any tester. I live near the Paterson/Paramus area of Northern NJ, so even if you can't make it, I'm close to NY City and even Philly, and if you have another collector that can stop by--just call. Please keep this in mind for any of my future listings. I can send good directions, and usually can be around 7 days a week.. I have 3 tube testers and 2 CRT testers, and often when I test a CRT or vacuum tube, I find that each tester gives a slightly different reading--so I know what you mean! The Beltron is handy since it shows milli amps, lift test, and has lots of adapters, but I don't think any tester is perfectly reliable. If I knew what I was doing, I'd restore an early Color set, and an early B&W, then slide in the For-Sale CRT, to see how it might perform. Harry |
