Hello from Wyoming, imigrant from AudioKarma

I figured it was time to join you over here I am collecting vintage Zenith portables, Trans-Oceanics, Universals etc.

I just picked up a real nice G503 just this last week. Surprisingly it's filter cap's are in fairly good shape. Compared to my tube type Trans-Oceanics the Royal G503 is a simple as can be.

Mine is a half done project. I've got a few other Zenith tube portables, but no time right now to post in any detail on them.

I understand why you wouldn't have time.
My addiction is in the area of general coverage receivers, especially military rigs. Then there a certain amateur radio transmitters.......
