95 Lincoln Mark VIII
So, after working on my Continental all break (and still not solving whatever's wrong with it), I searched craigslist for something else I could use as a driver for a while, and came up with another Lincoln.
The paint is bad and the grille has been broken into many pieces and somebody tried to repair it with hot glue (lots of hot glue  ), but it only has 69K miles on it, and I've always thought these cars were kind of neat - they came with the 4-overhead cam, aluminum block version of the 4.6L V8.

I owned a new '98 Mark VIII for 5 years. It ate ignition coils a couple of times, but no other problems I recall. Judging from replacement parts I saw listed online, air suspension bags could be another eventual failure point.
This car was when I stopped changing my own oil - too low to the ground, and I couldn't get over distrust of the air suspension even though it has a disable switch.

I put it up on ramps to change the oil - I have to do the same with my 84 Firebird (which is even lower). The hard part about changing the oil on this is getting the filter out, not unscrewing it from the engine, but actually removing it from the engine compartment afterwards. I couldn't come up with a method that didn't involve turning it upside-down and spilling oil everywhere.
The weather recently cooled down a bit, and it's hard to start in the morning when it's cold. The engine turns over easily enough, but it doesn't want to start, and then it idles a little rough for a few minutes, then it runs fine. - Opposite of my 83 Lincoln which runs great when you first start it, then starts missing and stalls after the engine warms up.
