What's this bracket on this Porthole for?

This Zenith Porthole is on CL, just curious what that bracket/holder thingy on the back is for, could it be for the Lazy Bones remote? It seems to have a wire running from it to inside the set so maybe it's an antenna of some sort?

"The screen lights but the picture tube does not work" Not sure if they mean the screen lights up but not getting a picture?
If the CRT is good it might be worth the price or maybe they'd take an offer.
I don't have room for another massive console.

Yes, it's for the lazy bones remote. You can see the same bracket here: http://thumbs.worthpoint.com/zoom/im...162022813e.jpg

Yes that is the bracket for storing the control pendant for the Lazy Bones remote. There is a 4 pin socket on the bracket that the pendant plugs into. It looks like the motor mechanism is still installed on the back of the tuner.

Well that's interesting, I'll have to keep my eye on this one and see if the price drops to a reasonable level.

I really don't have room though.
