Salmon Band in the middle of a resistor??

Okay, I know that a salmon colored band is usually located at the end of a resistor sometimes, but this one is in the middle!
Anyone know what the value of this is, it's got me puzzled!
It's not violet either.
Thanks!

Well, I guess it has to be a violet band,
can't be anything else, but sure looks pure pink!
I went with a 2700K.

I think it's supposed to be Violet also. 2.7 meg would be a legit value.
