1941 Goldmark Color Article and Screen Shots
I just stumbled across this article in the Sep. 22, 1941 issue of Life magazine on the Goldmark/CBS color system. These pictures might be around somewhere else, but I hadn't seen them yet. So, thought I'd link it here for others who might not have seen it either.
On the second page of the article there's a couple of color screen shots and some behind the scenes views. Pretty impressive for the time! http://books.google.com/books?id=fU0...vision&f=false |

I have this issue of Life Magazine in my collection. It is a great article on TV's progress to 1941. The ads are fun as well. The ETF site also has posted this article in a larger format: http://www.earlytelevision.org/pdf/life_9-22-41.pdf -Steve D.

The 1941 Goldmark Color TV Article
Very interesting article. The scrolldown has some great old ads also. I do have that exact RCA table radio in the RCA ad further down. I noticed the 1942 car ad also and since December 7 had not occured yet if that car ever was produced and sold because of the beginning of WWII (the big one).
