Philco Roundie

Well here is the picture of my Philco roundie that I promised in the Zenith thread.
I bought this set in 1976 from a tv shop. When I got home I had no help to unload it, so I took the legs off and rolled it end over end into the house. I put the legs back on, and went through all the convergence and setup adjustments.
This set was still working the last time I turned it on at the studio to the amazement of onlookers. They were amazed that a set so old would still work and produce a good picture.
The set next to it in the picture is my 1978 Magnavox star system set. Chassis is T995. Found the original remote for the Mag today.

I really like seeing these Philco's. Maybe I'll find one someday. The part about rolling it end-over-end sounds familiar! I used to have to do that quite a bit as I never had any help to unload or move them. If I could get them inside and on the carpet, I could roll them over on their top and they'd slide really well!
