Seeburg Stereo Console

I have a chance to get a Seeburg model 6001 Granada home stereo for maybe $100. Does anyone here know if these sounded very good and would it be worth the restoration. It holds 50 albums and looks really cool. It is heavy, and it is not the more desirable HSC1. Any thoughts? Should I go for it? It is about 3 hours away from me.

Those are still pretty rare. I suspect most were sold to classical music lovers, since you cant select individual tracks on the lps, just a whole album side.

If I had the opportunity to get one for a decent price like that I'd have to be in real dire straits to pass it up.
