I.D. This for me Please

The picture on Craigslist isn't very good, but can anyone let me know what kind of radio this is? Not sure I'd want it, but it's only $10

Looks to me like a Montgomery Wards Airline from the 1930s. The picture is not very good, but it looks like the dial has the two volume and tone (I think) indicators on the lower left and right of the dial. This may also have a stationized dial with call letters of major stations on it. Likely a two or three band radio. Well worth $10 even if just for parts but I bet it could be restored. Let us know if you get it.

I like it!

Then again, I'm a sucker for pre-war radios...

And anyway, for ten bucks, what's not to like? Even if you never got it working, it would be worth ten bucks just on decorative value alone.

Looks like its a possible WG made, maybe even a Western Auto Trutone. Lots of radios from the mid30s had that basic look. 4 knobs, might be a decent one. For 10 bucks, its probably worth it. Cabinet doesn't look too terrible, other than the speaker lattice being smashed up.
