RCA CT-100 for sale
Seeing that this is the apparent holy grail of color TV, I was surprised that it has received little discussion on the classified forum, unless of course the sharks are keeping quiet as to prevent it from being in the spotlight so they can get it for cheap...
But a zero feedback seller.... Best of luck to the winning bidder http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-two-V...item1c2eae5411 . Last edited by Norbert; 01-07-2013 at 02:08 PM. |

I'll let you guys fight it out over the CT-100. I kinda like that Heathkit!

I'll just sit back and watch.. I have no interest in paying over $500 in a vintage color set even if it is the first... Zero feedback? the buyer may get screwed royally.. Or watch the auction end early meaning it was phoney...

CT-100 plus Heathkit
I don't have it to give, but 5 bills does not seem all that bad for 2 early sets, especially when one promises to be a CT-100. I'm using a reference of $400 for a recently rebuilt 21FJP22 which was quoted as a fair price for that tube alone after Scotty's shop closed.
Understand the cautions about fakery, but the worst thing that could happen is an early end to the bidding, or a drive to CA for nothing... |

Ending early doesn't mean it was a phony. It usually means the seller has reached a deal with someone outside the Ebay bidding process.

I see it went for $3500!!! It seems way too high considering its a crap shoot if the CRT is good or not.
