We are hoping to rebuild tubes eventually, but that is some time away. We have the plant, but there is still a long way to go to put it into production. For now the only alternative is RACS in France.

I tried uploading the rebuilding report to my website, but it's a very large file. I need to figure out how to use FTP or something...

I wanted to see this clear up to putting the guns in...sealing it up, and then seeing it on a test jig with an old Indian head pattern with resolution bars.

It reminded me of some vid I saw SOMEWHERE of a guy building a tube from scratch. The music was neat (but kept looping which got annoying)...but was very "zen" like to watch.

Hi to All,

RACS reopened from august holidays yesterday.

They will be shipping very soon the 10BP4 type CRT Nick built from A to Z for himself so maybe HE can show you the Indian Pattern once it's installed.

OT: 10x 15Gs to rebuild + 12 radar tubes, fall of 2012 is definitely going to be a glass frit season...

Best Regards

Don't forget Folsom and my prototypes, we eagerly await the brother's word as to whether or not it is possible to regun and evacuate them. I'm very sad that such a good tube failed in such a way, around the neck. I almost want to go buy a polarimiter myself, to see if the neck glass was overheated.
