RCA New Vista Model

Spied this RCA New Vista Model in an antique mall. I can get it for $16.00. Cant see much of it cause as you can tell it is buried. CRT looks to have problem. Cell phone pics and sorry for the quality of them. Any thoughts on this one? Early 60's?
Thanks
Dan

Looks like a CTC-15 to me. The CRT probably has cataracts which are really no big deal to fix. At the price, I say grab it!! These are becoming very scarce now.

Yeah, I was unable to take it today, was with my boss and no room in his car. I will go get it this weekend. I could not get behind it, to see a model number, so thanks for the input on what it might be.

New Vista's are nice sets. Can't tell from the pics but I'm sure it's worth saving.

One day we're gonna regret not taking those singleboard 80s sets and hybrid portables..... These will be priceless by then.

those crts are getting hard to come by . Better have Scotty rebuild it asap if you get it . Being he might retire soon and there is no one else that does them .

Secure it - give them the money so they don't decide to pitch it!

Definitely either a CTC-15, or maybe even a 12. Top of the line one too, with the tuners side-by-side!

Agreed, I would buy that in a heartbeat. Might take all afternoon to get it out of that place, though! A -12 or -15, and either way it can be a great set.

I myself have an early 70s New Vista 19" tabletop. She still needs work but does produce a somewhat good picture. No cataracts on the CRT and is a hybrid set.

Got it home. And it did take awhile for the staff at the store to remove all the surrounding items, then a path had to be cleared. It is a CTC 15. It does power up, but no raster or sound. Tuner turns but indicator is stuck on 2. A full recap is in its near future, and hopefully I can get the CRT to Hawkeye within the next month. Here are a couple of pics from where it sits now in my heated garage.
