For anyone interested in getting an original...here it is on the 'Bay. Didn't sell for the opening bid of $22 or so. Here's the re-list. Appears to have a day to go. Surely someone would like to save this one. What time is it in Paris?

Perhaps the original would have the clarity for an I.D. - at least some context.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170250850957

It was originally listed under item #170246099670

Bon chance,

Roger

I placed the first bid just to make sure it doesn't get lost. If someone else wants it more, fine, but I hope they will share it here.

See? after much research and investigations jumps out, by coincidence, 2 books that depict exactly the color TV SET under discussion, sometimes says the case!

Hi to All,

For Dreyfoos: Paris is + 9 hours ahead of the West Coast and + 6 hours ahead of the Eastern seaboard. Currently 9:23PM.

I have the Schaff & Cormier book ...somewhere in my library. Will scan the picture when i locate it.

Later on update: went through my library & can't locate my copy. If no one objects, i will bid tomorrow and hopefully win. Being in France, mailing will be much faster than to the US of A. Of course, i will scan whatever pictures, from memory, there is one other color photo around the middle of the book + a few B&W.

I will wait for your OK or Veto. I'm not going to get into a bidding war with an AK TV Forum member, your esteem & friendship are worh far more than a book.
Also, this set of TV books shows up quite frequently on E-Bay France, this is how i got today's photo on the spur of the moment, having mislaid my copy.

Best Regards

jhalphen
