Round color TV working at a bed and breakfast

This past week we stayed at a bed and breakfast called Alla's in Duncanville, TX (near Dallas). They have all kinds of old equipment set up and functional. They had an RCA CTC-16 set up with a DTV convertor and also a Sentinel round tube B/W portable. Here is a video we made showing the TV's and other equipment.

Why on earth are you chewing up that record? The arm always sets down on the right! If the arm on this machine doesn't want to it's because the doohickey with the stops is set wrong.

*cringe*

Tomorrow's lesson: Two piece style telephone receivers hang up diaphragm end down.

That cataract is so easy to remove and makes such a big difference in the sets appearance.
Great video! What a fun place to stay.

i am loving this!my kind of place.going to new york next week to get a couple radios.finally found the same model zenith my dad owned before he passed away.he loved that zenith and i am happy to have aquired one.i would definately stay at that bed and breakfast just to see that roundie.ctc 15 and 16s are some of the best roundies.they produce pictures that rival the best of crts.long live the defunct roundie!

I doubt that set is a CTC20. Probably a 16X. My favorite RCA roundy. That 20 had to be one of the lousiest RCA's out there. The flyback is one that was only used in that model and was hard to get 40 years ago.
