Schematic Help

Hi Guys:
I had a fellow bring me a radio for repair that he tried to repair. It needs some help for sure. It has no indication of make or model but he seems to think it is a Balkeit model 45 but the schematic does not match the radio. It is a four tube set in a brightly coloured world globe. the tubes are a 6D6, 25Z5, 76, and a 43 output. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I sure could use a proper schematic.
Thanks

Gregb

Maybe someone who recognizes this set will jump in. Barring that, try using the following resources: you enter the number and types of tubes and the database returns a number of sets that it "might" be. You then track down the schematics of those on NostalgiaAir and the other sources until you hit one that looks right. It takes time and research. Sometimes if you don't hit one that's right on the money, you can print out several with that tube line up and compare to your set. With the same tube line up, such sets will usually be mostly the same.

radiomuseum has a database you can search by tube complement - I used it once to identify a mystery set.

Search for models by Tubes/Valves/Semiconductors

Cheers,

Thanks guys, I gave that a try with no luck. I just went ahead and winged it and found the problems the owner had created and it is now working just fine. Works really good for a low tube count set and sounds pretty good as well.
