This unit uses a 4 section electrolytic which will be tricky to replace because the amp doesn't have much room underneath to stick new caps inside as it is.

The original filter cap is of the can type that's fitted with a cardboard tube on top, so I might be able to gut and restuff the original can but not sure seeing as its a 4 section can and not sure if 4 radial lead caps will fit inside that can.
If it is a diameter thing you might stack one or more like Christ riggot does in his TV resto threads here... you could also fit as many into the can as possible and fit the rest under chassis (I've had to do that).

And its nice to know this was a good unit, I paid $35 plus tax for it, was that a good price?
This is the later Cobramatic changer. The first one used the Zenith Radionic FM Cobra cartridge. The later one you have is less expensive to replace a cartridge on, and usually has easier cartridge alternative options.
