Did he know he had cancer, or was it a sudden thing?
I only met him once at an ETF convention. He sure was a wealth of knowledge, and gave me some good tips & advice. |

From the best of my knowledge, he became really ill and it was discovered at that point when he went to the doctor, which was a week before he died.

AWWW! No way! I'll really miss him... We always chatted at the ETF, he ended up with my Admiral color mini console. It worked beautifully after he restored it. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Dave May will really be missed buy all of us TV collectors and friends of his for all these years I really appreciated his friendship and really do miss him a lot he was a great asset to our group out at the early television Foundation and will be sadly missed by all

This is very sad. I never had the opportunity to meet Dave, but admired posts he crafted. Never miss an opportunity to discuss "our thing here" with anyone willing to listen. All have some funny tales, too bad most of you are far west of here.
