Fortunately it IS going to a good home of a serious color TV collector, unfortunately the path there was not exactly 'Free" as intended by the donor.
How come I never find stuff like this curbside? Rob |

I have been in email contact with the purchaser of this CTC-9 and he promises to post pictures here after he's picked it up.

CTC 9
I don't smoke
I don't drink I don't run around But I will pay $562.00 for a curbside CTC 9 with a Remote! (Or any pre-1960 color TV that needs a good home!) My wife still does not understand, but tolerates the round tube collection. I will be picking it up in Virginia on 12/21. Post pictures soon! Kirk Out

ctc 9
I drove to VA and picked up the TV 2 weeks ago. CRT original 21cyp checks good. Here's the chasis up on he Tele-Matic after cleaning, re-tubing and re-caping. Notice the lower right, there is the KRK3A transmitter and CTP7A Receiver/relay board. It works!
