Vintage Sears Portable TV

So I just got back home from the local Goodwill.. I walked onto the electronics area and saw this little thing sitting there.. I plugged it in and turned it on, and sure enough it works, and even has the original manual, and for $4.99 minus 25% off having my friend a senior citizen purchase with my money.. $4 you can't go wrong at all.. I could not resist.. I guess it's one of those situations where I felt sorry for it, and it being portable, it's easier to store.. Looks to be from the late 1970s.. Out of all places, Goodwill, who would've thought?

A steal, for a fairly clean little color set with the manual!

If the model starts with 562, it's a Toshiba-built set. If it starts with 564, it's a Sanyo-built set. The other day, I bought a Sanyo set from '82 that looks similar to this.

I have/had a nearly identical set. It was a damn good DX set before the DTV switch.

Thanks for the comments.. I've also got a Toshiba set about this size.. The sleek rounded cover of this set looks like my Toshiba, and yet the control layout looks more like a Sanyo..
