I thought $40 was a pretty good deal. I didn't even bargain much.
The seller told me that the equipment was from an estate.
Regarding to 1-2-3-4-5 setting, the setup book has an addendum page in yellow that mentions the setting for the universal adaptor, but it didn't seem to make sense.
Originally, when I couldn't get it to work, I thought, that's why I bought so reasonable." It seems to work great now, so I'm pleased.
