GE Roundie at Minneapolis estate sale
Hi -
Just got back from a local estate sale (over my lunch break). There was a mid-60's GE round screen set in one of the bedrooms. Had double doors in the front (doors folded in half and then back). Did a search on AK and the pic below is very similar but with a different cabinet (cabinet is in good shape). Didn't plug it in. They wanted to ditch it - could probably get it for less than 20 bucks. Sale is running today and tomorrow 9am - 4pm. 4200 Shoreline Dr. N. (Robbinsdale - suburb of Minneapolis). |

Were all GE roundies RCA clones or did they ever make their own chassis designs?

This set is an RCA CTC-15 design...not sure if any other GE round sets used an actual GE-designed chassis but the rectangular sets did.
