My 21" RCA Color

Finally a roundie of my own. An RCA CTC 10 Chassis Model 211CD904
"The Monticello" years 1960 to 61. Early American Cabinet. Some small things to do on it but well worth the wait. Check out the pics in my Albums.

Shortcut...

Aside: I was up near Fond Du Lac today, visiting the WWII memorial in Mayville. My grandfather on my mother's side has his name in the 5th panel. Stevens Point isn't far from there, my Mom went to college there.

Tom,

That set is a real beauty. I'm so glad it found a loving new home. Also it was a real pleasure meeting with you.

Oh, yeah ? Kewl ! What was the name of our salesguy...He reminded you a bit of Tennessee Ernie Ford, in looks...Don Keuchle...IIRC. Good guy. Ask yr Dad if he remembers sendin' paper to IPC-Dennison...He'll prolly snort, & go, "THAT bunch of SOBs ?!?" We bought a lightweight sheet from them, 30 lb. We used it in our Therimage heat-transfer decalcomania business.

The Picture would have been great if I didn't use the flash on the camera. More pics in my albums in My Profile.

I have that same model CTC10 except my set has the remote control option. Where did you find the set Tom. Tell us the story. Mine came from a fellow near Findlay Oh. I had to drive hundreds of miles to pick it up. I got it for the price riciculous price of only $50 and the cabinet is like new, just like yours is. Congrats!

Nick, I would not keep the "too new" mindset for very long... Back in early 1980, I thought of color TV as "newer" and "1950s versus 1940s", so I ignored the several new-in-their-crates GE 15-inch color monitors for sale where I worked.
