Whatever became of Sandy G?

It has been around 2 months since he last posted here, and his last post was a joke about wanting his own posts deleted. I also noticed he was complaining about his health over on AK before going silent there. Is he doing alright?

I'll ask about him to Grumpy Dave in the morning.

I realized a couple of times over the past little while he hadn't been posting. Man, that fella carried the lighter side of this board.

Now that you mention it IIRC his number is in that super secret place us moderators have (where we secretly plot to take over the world ). I've never spoken directly with him or his family before, though and think it would be better if someone he's familiar with speaking to calls him.

I've spoken with him on the phone but no longer have his number. He talks pretty much the same way he writes, i.e. when he described high-speed driving in his Lincoln convertible.

I sent a couple messages to him over the last 2 months wondering if he got his 621TS up and running as I had some parts for him but never heard from him and he hasn't been online in ages. I think once in our correspondence he had given me an email, I'll take a look.

I found his address in my inbox, and then looked online at whitepages.com, http://www.whitepages.com/name/Sandy...lle-TN/a93iuv4

But it won't let me view the tel. Number as its only available to viewers in the US and not Canada, but you guys should be able to see it?

Found it, will try calling him tomorrow

This is news to me. I know Sandy hasn't been posting to VK in quite a while, but I thought that may have been because he was very busy; in fact, I hope that's the reason no one here has heard from him in so long. In any event, I hope he is OK and that we hear from him soon.

His last Facebook activity was two months ago. Tim's shoutout got a reply that Sandy needed a new computer and his circumstances are such that getting another might take a while.

I'll call him this week if nobody beats me to it. My wife is going in for surgery on Tuesday to remove a tumor on her spine, so things are a bit nuts here at the moment....
