I want to transmit from my garage to the house

I found this transmitter online, I think it would be able to do the job. I have a raspberry pi mini pc that can act as a video player, so I need a transmitter for it. If someone can double check this I'd be very appreciative.

For about the same price a Blonder Tongue AM60 or BAVMz would likely be a better choice...That chicom stuff at it's best can't compete with CATV headend equipment and at worst is DOA and unreturnable...Had it happen with a different transmitter.

The ChiCom one is for PAL ( Europe) you need NTSC.
The BT looks right & will be very well built.
Best to use it on VHF high ( ch 7 - 13) if you have a blank channel.
Cut a dipole for that channel & hang it up flat side facing house.

Should be. If I am reading the manual and ad correctly it looks like an AM60 series unit. If I'm wrong it could be an AM40. The AM40s aren't as powerful but, on CH7 or close with good antennas on each end if your garage isn't more than 175' from your house it should work fine.

I've been able to get about 3/4 block out of my AM40s with a good transmit antenna on a good portable TV.

What Tom said: The AM-60-860 posted is a great deal. I have gotten these fixed-channel versions for channels that are not used in my area. 3-5-7-11-12 ANY analog tuner useful again with rabbit ears or built-in antenna, Ive had more fun doing this since 2009 https://www.ebay.com/itm/32584133975...Bk9SR4K9h_frYg .

That's like the one I have. Get one and you won't regret it. They produce a very sharp clear picture that I doubt you could get out of a cheapo unit. I've had good results even up at it's UHF cable frequencies around channel OTA 27-28.

I've used the Ramsey TV kit but that did not transmit far and another unit I ordered on of one of the electronics mags with transmits on Channel 14 and that did not transmit thru out the house..

A Blonder Tongue came to the rescue and will be working on that in the next few days...
