Collecting Quad VTR Reels

Here's my collection of Quad reels - including nice metalic blue Memorex.
Picked them up in a B'cast station in the 80's when 2" was being phased out.

Those are cool. I've never seen a blue Memorex reel, only red ones.

The Blue IS cool but a metalic Red one would be SWEET also !

What happened to the tape? That would make them much more interesting, especially if played on a machine. However, they do look pretty

I suppose I could have got some with tape, but didn't think it a priority at the time.
