21fb- 21fj

hi all i was wondering if anyone knows if i could take a 21fjp22, bonded front and use it in place of a 21fbp22 with the removable front. just to use the whole 21fj and place it in another set not saying take the bonded front off but rather just use the whole crt in place of the 21fb. the 21fj i am referring to is actually one of those replacements with the number that starts with i think it is 19hv something like that and has the bonded face like the 21fj. what i really would like to know is there any angle issues where it wont fit another sets mounting as far as the curve in the front or otherwise. thanks.

I don't think there would be any issue for most sets.

I did it all the time.
What ever you do, save that glass and rubber gasket. It'll come in handy if you have to do a cataract job, on another CRT.

I have a CTC-11 built for an FBP but with an FJP rebuild installed. Nobody would ever know.
