Help identify 1950s phonograph

I'm looking for any kind of lead to track down the make and model of this record player from ~1956. It may have had a VM 950 changer, but I'm not absolutely certain that's what it was. It was phono only and had three speakers: a 12" and two 4(?)" The tweeters had enclosed baskets and had hex nuts in the center of their cones. All three speakers were painted radiola-chassis brown.

It *may* have been sold on/near a US military base in Germany. My dad served there in the mid 50s. Any help is appreciated.
