jUKEBOX FORUMS??

I picked up a Seeburg 147H on the weekend, in working order. It has the radio control selector chassis, and had been given minimal repairs to the electronics to make it work. On the weekend I replaced all the paper and electrolytic capacitors in the amplifier chassis, and will do the same in the selector chassis today or tomorrow. It worked as-is, but I'm not trusting 70 year old aerovox capacitors with wax dripping off them.

The symphonola mechanism itself is well lubricated and worked well when I bought it, also sounds good.

What I am looking for is a forum where I can talk to other people who own old Seeburgs. I want to ask questions about how it works, and will probably have some issues as I get it back to 100%.

Best place that exists here is the phonographs section....It might be nice to have a VK Jukebox section added.

I was thinking outside VK.. although inside VK is an even better idea if there's a knowledge base. The amplifier and audio part of the machine aren't any issue, but the selector is certainly new to me. First item I own with a thyratron tube in it!

There is a fairly new forum here: http://jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/
Some very experienced and knowledgeable experts are there.

I think most folks are on the Jukebox list e-mail reflector:
