Hey Kamakiri,

I'll buy the CTC-16 from you if it's still for sale That'll give you more funds to go after the CTC-5. Let me know

Can't....Doug's got dibs on that one.

Although I have been wondering if I really feel like putting all that work into my basket case CT100

I'm gonna end up with that 5, unless somebody's got pretty deep pockets

Tim,
By all means go for it, if you can. That is a beautiful "Lockhaven" Super model. Everytime that seller says he wants to gut the chassis, I get a pain in my gut.
SAVE THAT SET!

Crap Tim! That is not fair. I was really hoping to see you get that beauty. I sure would have bid on it if you hadn't put your dibs on it!

Twins?

Sorry Tim,

It does seem to me that this Rochester CTC-5 or its exact twin were offered on e-bay out of Philadelphia a couple of weeks ago. Item #: 3269908259. The reserve was not met at that time. Check it out.

Steve

Unhappy CTC-5 with Happening Rug

I just wanted to apologize to anyone who was disappointed or frustrated when I ended the auction early. I have had this happen to me, usually with vintage cars that I have lost my heart to, so I understand how you may feel. I had never ended an auction early before. In this case I believe I made a reasonable deal with a truly nice guy who will take good care of the set and the timing was right for him to pick it up so I didn't see the point of waiting it out.

I appreciate the interest in the set and enjoyed the education I got. Maybe now I won't be so afraid of vacuum tubes.

Pity, I was going to go as high as $800, and I'm local. Hope you got good coin.
