I apologize to both gansky1 and jstout66 for implying they were somehow dishonest.

I only intended to make bidders aware of a issue which they might, or might not find important.

Ended at 1525.00. I wonder if we will find out who the buyer was. I hate that new BS on e-bay where they hide the buyers name and use Buyer#1 and Buyer#2 etc. IN a real auction, you get to know who your competition is because he is right ther ein the room with you. I think e-bay made a huge mistake hiding the buyers names. I personally am not participating in as many auctions since they have adopted this system.

Your right, That is one reason I don't like e bay. It does not seem fair.
1525.00 A set like that is worth it but that is a lot of money.

I figured the set would have gone for somewhere around $1500 regardless. Gansky, please let us know if the TV was bought by a US bidder. Just curious as many of the roundies have been going overseas lately. Very nice set. Would have gone after it if it were within the budget. Im going to get my 21CYP22 and 21FJP22 rebuilt which is going to cost me $700 over at hawkeye. The price to rebuild roundies keeps going up and up.......I need to take care of this now before the price of rebuild goes up any more, thus I can't afford TV's through ebay. Im getting the crt rebuilt for my space command 400 roundie and my CTC-7.

When I checked the close of the auction it stated the winning bidder's ID. The other bidders are still listed as Bidder1, etc. The winning bidder is in the US. (and it's not me!)
