Shows how out of touch I am, never heard of autotune until just now. Wow, what fakery! To drag this back OT, I take it the bieb uses it?

Well, Hoss, you really ain't missed anything very important.Autotune's 1st big foray that I remember, was Cher's "Believe" from about 1990 or so. Most of the song had the Autotune doo-hickey turned on, but a few choruses she cut loose, & even if you don't particularly care for her, the power she still had in her voice was little short of amazing.

Just heard tonight 6/25 on Entertainment Tonight that Bieber canceled his concert tour.Alot of heartbroken young fans are probably upset over this.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auto-Tune Autotune shined new light on Cher's aging voice on her comeback hit "Believe" in 1998. I thought that was more like audio vocal morphing then Autotune on that song.I remember playing around with Sound Forge 4 or 5 on my win98 computer which was doing a similar effects with my voice.Pretty scary isn't it.LOL..
