what is the best way to move retrace lines & macro especially on roundie color sets

i've been searching the net for ideas and saw some older vk threads that say use a video stabilizer , don't use a macrovision remover ?
is it better to add a banking circuit in the set ?
i'd like to get rid of the macro retrace lines that come and go on certain dvds .
opinions please
mike

I tried using a TBC, but it didn't work. Ended up buying a macro remover from eBay, worked like a champ.

I found out recently that some DVD players have no macrovision on the component outputs while they do have it on the composite output (yellow). If you meet such a player, you might connect the component outputs directly to your TV or use an external color modulator.

I'm just seeing around for make a simply circuit that removes the teletext signals and its lines on the pictures. I friend of mine has made a very good circuit, as soon as possible I'll ask to you and put his schematic on VK.

Mine not only removes Macrovision, etc., from DVDs, it also eliminated a mysterious signal that appeared on certain channels on our cable system, making Macrovision-like inteference that drove some of my vintage TVs nuts (http://www.videokarma.org/showthread.php?t=263915).
