HP Scope Chip Need
Hi guys…I have an HP 54600 oscilloscope with the dreaded Dallas 1220 battery chip. I’m going to offload the calibration information and the 1220 data, replace the 1220 with some sort of substitute and reinstall the offloads. The issue is the substitute. I’ve seen some folks rig a coin battery onto a replacement chip. I’ve also seen alleged 1220 battery chips being sold as NOS but a NOS battery 25 years old is gonna be just as dead. Anyone had this issue and found any workarounds?
