Sad news.....

Just a note to mourn the passing of one of the most ardent of TV collectors. Dan Gustafson will be greatly missed by all of us who knew him. Danny's passion for collecting vintage television receivers and related memoriabilia was rarely equaled. He could be a formidable opponet in the e-bay bidding wars, but long before the internet, and long before most knew of the need to preserve television history; Danny was out there searching and finding and rescuing those video treasures. My condolences to his family and friends.

I too heard the news earlier today. I hope to have Danny's life story and details of his collecting activity on my website soon.

I did not personally know Dan but was well aware of his long time built formidable collection. He will be missed and I wish his survivors my condolances and best wishes.
