The wonder of the scale model trains

One day a German toy company (still existing) which made doll houses had a revelation: since people bought doll houses and after that they could by accesories, they could do the same with trains. So the art of gettin stuff for toy/scale model trains was invented. The company name was and still is: "Märklin".
Well, they started with toy trains - these are post W.W.1 models: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y40PcJASCik
Here is some more nice stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=asxwsre-BKM

But the true beauty comes when we talk about scale model.
Well, the SK800 imitated an locomotive that in reality had 8 motor coupled wheels, but since the curves where tight, they made an 2-6-2 (Hudson/Baltic) locomotive instead of an 2-8-2 locomotive (the BR06). But it was a nice metal lady.
And when it pulled metal cars... wow! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-QUGVb0eUkw

These are plastic made, ispiered by U.S. Stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYwU2G_CHPk&t=42s

And some "krokodiles" ('50's-'90's): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LujO_uFd96g&t=151s

I started to collect stuff from this sistem because is cheaper in Romania then standard H0.

"Fleischmann" made some U.S. Stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=baL0FO18xxs
and the German version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO2kFbQoy48

"Märklin" had 3 rail sistem, but the left and the right track formed just one circuit (ooops, the whells aren't electrically isolated, right from left). "Trix" Express sistem had 3 rail sistem, but all the tracks where electrically separeted, so you could operated indepently 2 trains. Well, rolling stock isn't theoretically interchgable with the other 2 sistem (different wheel flanges)... practically I've seen an filming with an "Märklin" SK800 runing on "Trix" Express tracks.
1953 stuff... I wish me an BR01 (Pacfic tipe locomotive) pre 1957 model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhaH3qo0tFY
Nice layout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxUmjV00cP0&t=328s

Note the tracks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zd1Kzn6dDe4

Well, on T.T. scale (inveted in U.S.A.) the most famouse manufacturer is the German (former East-German) "Zeuke/B.T.T.B./Tillig" company. But in Western-Germany there was also an TT scale company, called "Rokal", which unfortenely when bankrupt in 1974. They didn't made stuff as refined as the other company, but they had metal ladies too!

The BR85 was an freight locomotive, but on scale model... oh, in real size I love much the car (WLABmh 174) after the locomotive. Nice 1959-1968 sleeping cars, in use in Romania and Bulgaria nowdays. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3v2XaWWegU
