O Frabjuous Day !

Responded to an ad in Electric Radio, & I'm gonna be the Daddy of an RCA 621 TS after Christmas ! And a Zenith R-3000 T/O ! Also invited the guy to join us-He says he's got a warehouse full of the kind of Good Junque we're interested in...I've been a subscribed to ER for a BUNCH of years, & he's a regular advertiser..More later..

Gonna send his money order out this evening, but told him to not ship it out til after Xmas.. That's the ONLY problem I have-He's in Wisconsin, & I'm in Tennessee...Figured it might be safer after the Xmas rush..

Good for you! You'll like that 3000 too. I've had a bunch of them over the years and everyone worked when I got them. One had a loose transistor though. They use plug ins.

And my wife CAN'T Fuss-Too much, anyhow, 'cos I just got her a ring as an anniversary present, & a nice 22" chain in sterling to match it for Xmas... Our anniversary was Sunday... She "Shanghaied" me over to Gatlinburg for the weekend, & I didn't fuss/complain much, even tho I'm strictly a Homebody...

Rumor has it that the large amount of stuff he says he has warehoused is true. Several members of the WI & IL radio clubs have visited and bought stuff from him. I haven't yet been over to see it, even though my brother lives just two miles from Bill. Be nice if he'd have an open house weekend and sale! I'd hate to bother him for a look-see if I have no real intention of buying anything.

Yeah-He told me he & his dad operated a TV/radio store/repair for something like 50 years, & they took in nearly ANYTHING/everything in trade...
